Virtual Assessment in English Language Teaching during COVID-19 Pandemic: Challenges and Considerations in Bangladesh Perspectives

Background: 
 This study examines the methods of assessing learners English Language Teaching (ELT) virtually, obstacles both teachers and students face in virtual assessment, kind renovations have to accommodate for effective imperative suggestions they terms more fruitful plausible assessment during COVID-19-like pandemics context Bangladesh.
 Methodology: 10 21 from 5 renowned private universities Bangladesh participated study. And it applied a mixed-method approach consisting qualitative quantitative research methods.
 Findings: The findings revealed that all go through COVID-19 lockdown; majority them use Zoom Meeting App Google Classroom summative formative assessments form mostly viva voce, online assignment, presentation; is time money-saving, has scheduled benefits; its disadvantages include, mainly, unstable internet connection across country; most suggest teachers’ students’ training dealing with technological devices apps used assessment.
 Conclusion: major results ELT Bangladeshi requires substantial modifications renovations.
 Originality: Since ELT, like other academic disciplines, function Bangladesh, better decisions on methodology and, logically, appropriate policies can be formed. Conforming this purpose, aims unearth existing challenges encounter recommended by them.
